Job Description
St. Joseph School in Corydon is hiring an Instructional Aide for.
The Prekindergarten Instructional Aide supports the lead teacher in fostering a safe nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Responsibilities include assisting with classroom management preparing materials and activities supervising students during play and transitions and reinforcing lessons through guided smallgroup or oneonone instruction. The aide plays a key role in promoting social emotional and academic development while maintaining a caring and respectful classroom atmosphere.
This position requires strong communication skills a patient and positive demeanor and the ability to collaborate closely with the classroom teacher and families. Prior experience with early childhood education or a willingness to grow in that field is preferred.
