Apprentice Automotive Technician

Job Description:
Freeway Ford is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Apprentice Technician to join our growing service department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for automotive repair who is looking to gain handson experience and grow into a certified Automotive Technician role.
Job Type & Schedule:
Fulltime
Monday Friday
8hour shifts
No weekends Evenings or Holidays
Responsibilities:
Assist senior technicians with routine maintenance and repair tasks
Perform oil changes tire rotations and basic vehicle inspections
Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Follow dealership and manufacturer procedures
Participate in training and development opportunities
Shadow experienced technicians to develop technical skills
Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members
Uphold Freeway Fords values of professionalism and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an automotive tech program preferred
Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
Strong interest in automotive repair and diagnostics
Willingness to learn and grow within a team environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
Professional appearance and positive attitude
