Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive Industrial Arts curriculum aligned with Oklahoma State Department of Education standards and best practices. This may include courses in woodworking metalworking welding robotics computeraided design (CAD) or other approved areas.
- Instruct students in safe and effective use of industrial arts tools and equipment.
- Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that fosters creativity critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
- Provide individualized instruction and support to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Assess student learning through various methods including projects tests and portfolios.
- Maintain accurate and complete student records.
- Collaborate with colleagues administrators and parents to ensure a wellrounded educational experience for students.
- Stay uptodate on industry trends and innovations in the field of industrial arts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Arts Education Technology Education or a closely related field.
- Strong knowledge of safe operation and maintenance of industrial arts tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for all students.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for Industrial Arts education.
