Company:
The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently looking for Experienced or Senior Procurement Financial Analysts (PFA) (Level 3 or 4 to join the team in Everett WA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Researches collects synthesizes and analyzes data from appropriate sources to estimate cost of parts systems and services to obtain best market value
- Develops financial models and other analytical tools to drive recommendations for the procurement of goods and services
- Analyzes contract terms to ensure comprehensive understanding of financial and nonfinancial implications. Supports contract price negotiations to achieve most favorable outcome
- Understands and utilizes economic financial and operational data to accurately diagnose key issues develop strategic alternatives and drive crossfunctional and crossdivisional stakeholder alignment
- Clearly conveys financial analysis strategies and business recommendations to guide executive leadership decision making on key choices
- Conducts financial operational proposal and procedural audits of supplier data and systems
- Prepares the Priced Bill of Material
- Performs and compiles appropriate risk and opportunity analysis. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3 years of experience in Finance Accounting Business or related field
- 3 years of experience in analyzing data and making recommendations to take appropriate actions based on findings or doing business case analysis (i.e. ROI Cost/Benefit)
- 3 years of experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive level management
- Experience in a role that required building crossfunctional consensus among internal and external stakeholders to drive business results
- Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas VLookups pivot tables charts filters and linking worksheets
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance business or a related field
- 5 years in a role that required building crossfunctional consensus among internal and external stakeholders to drive business results
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn complex systems and take constructive feedback from others
- Ability to utilize large amounts of data with accuracy in order to drive strategic decisions/recommendations
- Experience with analytics and data visualization
- Comprehension of supply chain operations from raw material to end product
