Job Title
SIS Account Manager Government EducationPosition Overview
This position is responsible for acting assingle point of contactfor annuity clients and managing all aspects of their accountservicethrough SIS. This position willreport to andcoordinatewith SIS Business Managers to onboard new accounts and implement service programsinmarket segments including but not limited to government retailcorporateeducation healthcare specified living and hospitality.This position willrespond toneeds and manage all operational aspects of assigned accountsand will work with Sales to obtain forecasts and evaluate performance of accounts.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as single point of contact and manage all operational aspects of an account service program from onboarding to annuity relationship.
Manage service programs executed throughWinbid Ecommerce and/or wholesale systems and processes.
Understand all contract or program requirements includingpricing reporting and/orrebate processes for accounts managedand maintain account database detail.
Respond to proposal request define scope of work identify material and labor needs negotiate labor costs respond to estimating needsprepare formal proposalcoordinate with Customer Service and Transportation to enterand trackordersmanage order entry and production schedule shippinginstallation schedulesprocess payablesinvoicing troubleshooting.
Manageand maintainblanket inventoryat required levels.
Develop and maintainprofessional relationships with internal and externalcustomersand partnersincluding end users suppliersservice providerssales contracting officers and purchasing agents.
Coordinate withSIS Business Managers and SolutionistsMarketing Support ServicesandSalesin responding to RFIs and RFPs contractnegotiation and contract/pricingrenewals or updates.
Managecompliance from customers withcontracttermsconditionsand price agreements.
Travel may be required to build service and maintain relationships.
Train and mentor Account Coordinator.
Accountablefor problem resolution.
Ensure timely billing and closing of jobs.
Understand financial aspects of accounts managed including reconciling project costs margin movement and profitability.
Seek innovative solutions to enhance and improve service programs throughSIS.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of high school diploma/GED and 3yearsprevious administrative experience required. Two year degree or appropriate collegiate course work desirable.
Individual must possess excellent communication skillwritten and verbal necessary for corresponding with internal and external customers sales team members and interdepartmental associates.
Ability to manage confidential information is required.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills required.
Knowledge of the industry and standard practices is beneficial.
Experience reading blueprints desirable; knowledge of floor covering installation procedures and jobsite conditions desirable.
Experience dealing with general contractors and GC standard operatingproceduresisbeneficial.
Individual must be customer oriented and present themselves in a professional manner. Individual must be detail oriented and able to multitask while prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
Individual must be comfortable making highlevel decisions and owning responsibility.
Individual must be willing to travel and be comfortable in customerfacing environment.
Individual must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Google docs.Powerpointexperienceisbeneficial.
Individual must be willing to work on special projects as needed.
Individual must perform with minimal supervision and significant independent judgment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Business and marketing skillsisdesirable.
Previous experience in departmentisdesirable.
Previous experience managing annuity relationshipsisdesirable.
Knowledge and experience with theWinbidsystem or Shaw Integrated Solutions is preferred.
