Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Project Manager I to oversee the planning and of projects in the telecommunications industry. The Project Manager I will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time while meeting all quality standards and customer expectations. This position requires excellent communication and leadership skills as well as a strong technical background in telecommunications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute project plans including timelines budgets and resource allocation
- Coordinate project activities with crossfunctional teams including engineering operations finance and customer service
- Monitor project progress and ensure that key milestones are met
- Manage project risks and develop contingency plans to address issues that arise
- Communicate project status to stakeholders including customers senior management and other key partners
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time within budget and meet quality standards
- Provide leadership and direction to project team members including setting goals providing feedback and resolving conflicts
- Conduct project postmortems to identify areas for improvement and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Telecommunications or related field
- 3 years of experience in project management preferably in the telecommunications industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure including fiber optic networks wireless systems and data centers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and customers
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time within budget and meeting quality standards
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to travel as needed to project sites and customer locations
