Mega Disposalis looking for a safety conscienceResidential Route Driverto join our team inCranston RI. Drivers interested in secure steady employment in a family atmosphere are encouraged to apply.
Schedule:MondayFriday 5:30am start time / 50 to 55 hours per week. Saturdays as needed.
Pay rate:$27.00 per hour (Overtime Eligible)
Our priority is to make sure we hire safe drivers that care about the service provided to the community. As a driver with us the minimum responsibilities are:
- Ability to safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste. Waste experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
- Performing routine post and pre route inspections on vehicles such as checking fluids safety equipment and tires.
- Ability to perform a physically demanding job loading and unloading at times with no helpers.
- Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
- Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous jobrelated duties as assigned.
What we need from you:
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
