Job Title: Mayborn Event Host

Job Classification:Events and Hospitality Student

Department: Mayborn Museum

Hiring Manager: Tiffany Hines

Contact:

Work Schedule: Up to 15hrs per week. Saturdays 8:305 Some Sundays 125 flexible hours during the week including some evenings.

Desired Length of Employment: Summer

Pay Rate: 10

Job Description:

The Mayborn Event Host plays a key role in creating positive experiences for guests at the museum. This position supports both private birthday parties and a variety of public and private museum events. Hosts are responsible for setup guest interaction basic event support and postevent cleanup. This is a great opportunity for students who enjoy working with people and want handson experience in hospitality and events.

  • Assist in planning coordinating and helping with events as needed
  • Deliver excellent customer services to clients and visitors
  • Provide information and answer inquiries as needed
  • Assist with various activities and tasks related to events and hospitality services
  • Ability to comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
