Looking for an opportunity to make a global impact The Global Purchasing Programs charter is to rapidly expand Amazons retail presence globally partnering closely with compliance category management technology and product teams to deliver the worlds largest selection to our international customers.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our international customers by defining and implementing the selection strategy for a group of countries.
Key job responsibilities Own a roadmap of initiatives to measure and improve selection performance across WW Amazon stores. Partner with stakeholders in destination countries to understand their selection needs and translate them into actionable growth plans. Improve customer experience through catalog quality improvements and selection performance through initiatives that drive discoverability and conversion. Pilot new and spy ideas to test their viability with the goal to improve selection performance. Gather learnings from these experiments to inform the product roadmap and automation requirements. Lead weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews with stakeholders highlighting business impact and product adoption metrics.
5 years of program or project management experience Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership Proficiency in SQL
2 years of driving process improvements experience Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
