Job Description
The Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing maintenance and repair on all Township Facilities as directed from prioritized projects through the maintenance request process and/or as instructed by the Operations Manager.
*Responsible for program and event set ups and general custodian and cleaning functions.
*Performs minor electrical plumbing and carpentry work as directed and assists the department with internal renovation projects including painting carpeting and tiling.
*This position ensures all Township facilities are clean and safe that all equipment is in efficient running order and is cared for properly.
*Performs other duties as required for the successful operation of the Department.
This nonexempt position has a pay rate of $19.50 per hour.
The hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00am 3:00pm. Evening and weekend hours may be required based on need.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One year of experience preferably in a facility maintenance role.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office related applications including Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to obtain Class B CDL within 12 months of hire.
