Job Description

OVERALL SUMMARY

Join Close Brothers HR team where you will provideadvisory and transactional support to managers and employees within the Bank. Working as part of the HR teamour ideal team member will have previous experience working to tight timescales whilst maintaining high quality and accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare new starter contracts and offer documentation working with Recruitment BPs to ensure an effective and smooth onboarding for both the candidate and line manager
  • Deliver key HR processes including processing employee changes and leavers in a timely manner
  • Review and update HR systems to ensure accurate data and MI can be maintained and produced
  • Act as key point of contact for HR queries providing guidance on HR policy process and operating procedures to employees and managers
  • Answer queries from employees managers and HR BPs or escalate as appropriate in a timely manner
  • Provide support and assistance to the Associate HRBPs HR BPs and Senior HRBP when dealing with employee queries or people initiatives
  • Carry out note taking for employee relations meetings as required by the HRBP within a timely manner
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships quickly
  • The ability to manage work requests working to tight timescales whilst maintaining high quality and accuracy
  • Very strong demonstrable Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Time management skills / prioritisation
  • Basic understanding of drawing conclusions from data and identifying themes

  • Previous knowledge and experience of working within a fastpaced HR team
