Were seeking a skilled AV Services Technician to support a key client based in Philadelphia PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an AV professional who excels in field service work and enjoys solving realtime challenges in dynamic environments.
Position Overview:
As an AV Services Technician youll work closely with AVTs engineering and support teams to provide technical support maintenance installation assistance and troubleshooting for a wide range of AV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite support for AV systems including video conferencing control systems DSPs displays and streaming equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot AV issues for clients with a primary focus on Philadelphiabased installations.
- Monitor and support live events and meetings to ensure highquality AV performance.
- Assist with system configuration testing and enduser training.
- Document service calls updates and solutions in internal ticketing systems.
- Coordinate with AVTs home office and field teams in Kimberton PA as needed.
Requirements:
- Handson AV experience including field service or technical support.
- Strong understanding of AV systems including AMX Extron ClearOne etc.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently in the field.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites in the Philadelphia area on a regular basis.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AVIXA CTS certification or relevant technical training.
- Familiarity with IT/networking concepts relevant to AV installations.
