JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Behrend is searching for a full time Janitorial Worker to join their team. Duties include:
- Collect waste from work area; wash chalkboards; gather dirty erasers and supply clean erasers
- Dust dust mop floors; wet mop floors; spot clean and vacuum rugs runners etc; rotate runners and clean stairways
- Wash glass mirrors light fixtures wainscoting railings toilet fixtures etc.; clean restrooms and stock dispensers
- Wash and polish furniture brass etc.
- Maintain equipment and materials used to perform work in a clean and orderly condition
- Lock doors close and lock windows and turn out lights
- Report needed repairs to Supervisor
Job Requirements: Requires the use of simple writing adding subtracting whole numbers and the carrying out of instructions; and the use of fixed gauges and direct reading instruments and devices in which interpretation is not required. Up to and including 3 months of effective experience.
Work Schedule:3:00 p.m. 11:30 p.m.
Days Off:Saturday Sunday
