Our clients seek the specialized knowledge that EY offers across various consulting services particularly for projects involving Risk Control SelfAssessment (RCSA) process compliance controls testing and evaluations creation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manuals and risk reporting. These areas are crucial for the work conducted in 1st line control testing.

Your key responsibilities:
Client Management
- Understand the clients business & related industry issues/trends
- Develop strong working relationships with client and onshore client teams
- Maintain excellent rapport and proactive communication with the client
Market Leadership
- Participate and support business development initiatives
- Support the practice in developing thought leadership content and other innovation initiatives from time to time.
Primary Responsibilities
- Control Testing
- Conduct indepth evaluations of client process narratives flowcharts and risk control matrices to ensure they accurately represent operational processes and controls. Lead detailed walkthroughs with business owners to collect critical information confirming that controls are welldesigned effectively mitigate risks and function as intended.
- Oversee the RCSA process for client departments or functions setting the scope and timelines in partnership with the clients 1st Line of Defence. Provide expert advice on RCSA developments and offer strategic insights during meetings with business and support functions.
- Manage and execute control testing to assess operational effectiveness including selecting samples performing tests and verifying control operations. Maintain rigorous documentation of results evidence and exceptions ensuring completeness and currency of all records.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed assessment reports for senior management highlighting key findings and strategic recommendations. Propose updates to process maps policies and procedures to incorporate new risks and controls enhancing risk mitigation strategies.
- Participate in and lead projects related to the 1st Line of Defence such as tool implementation and reporting enhancements aimed at improving risk data aggregation and control testing processes. Conduct quality reviews of control testing assessments to ensure consistency and accuracy and provide periodic status updates to stakeholders.
- Quality Control
- Meet quality guidelines within the established turnaround time (or allotted budget) for assigned request
- Deal with workload without compromising standards

- Mentor and coach junior team members enabling them to meet their performance goals and successfully grow their careers.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure compliance with risk management strategies plans and activities of the firms
- Manage the engagement budgets and support supervisors in developing marketing material business proposals and new solution / methodology development
- Supporting the engagement manager in planning and scheduling optimum staff levels for engagements.
To qualify you must have:
- Minimum 26 years of experience of serving in a similar role Big 4 experience preferred.
- Graduated in Accounting/Business from reputed university.
- CPA/ACCA/MBA Finance / Chartered Accountancy (India)
- CIA or CRMP other similar certifications preferred.
- Proficient in MSOffice Suite understanding of data analytics tools.
- Proficient in Process modelling tools (Visio IBM Blueworks etc.
- Working knowledge of SAP Archer or other leading GRC platforms
- Globally mobile and flexible to travel to onsite locations.
- Technical experience in Controls Testing Finance Operations or Regulatory Compliance
- Strong Oral & Written Communication Skills ability to articulate discussions.
- Problem solving skills and ability to multitask is essential.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize deliverables effectively to achieve optimum results.
