Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed both major and minor which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Run and operate the business unit / corporate functions (BU / CF data & analytics strategy and roadmap. This includes partnership with the clevel BU / CF executive to align the strategy with the business vision and priorities.
2. Partner across clevel executives to transform the business through enabling data and analytics to reengineer processes become a data driven decision organization and operationalize those decisions for a sustainable business.
3. Operate the business data stewards and partner across the company to implement data governance across key business critical processes and critical data elements.
4. Accountable to execute closure for specific business data analytics and data scientist audit issues controls issues MRAs MRIAs MRBAs and selfidentified issues.
5. Manage and execute innovation across data analytics data science (AI / ML) reporting and modeling.
6. Build out a team based upon agile delivery to support sustainable operations business resiliency of priorities.
7. Partner with the enterprise data and analytics team to define the future start products tools and solutions to execute on the business strategy.
8. Partner across Truist to implement the enterprise operating model while bringing best in class industry practices to improve people process and technology.
9. Accountable to build out and manage the business analytics data science data stewards and reporting teams that can span 50200 teammates.
10. Stay up to speed on emerging industry and technologies while bringing those new practices to Truist.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

degree in either computer science analytics data engineering finance or equivalent degree
years of data management experience inclusive of driving enterprise data strategy data data engineering or software delivery
problem solving skills and being able to define detailed strategies
in financial services or payments industry
in meeting regulatory obligations and operating in a highly regulatory environment
6. Experience in building a high performing team
Preferred Qualifications:
in solution designs based upon business requirements
in building financial services strategy
in rolling out business data governance across processes and solutions.
in data architecture solution architecture and / or designing enterprise business processes
demonstrated in data engineering computer engineering data transformation (ETL) digital transformation and regulatory program delivery
