OT541: TFP Florence SC 1500 Otis Way Florence SC 29501 USAJob Description Product Data Management Summer Intern
The summer intern candidate will work in a fastpaced environment for the product data management group in Florence SC. Responsibilities include implementing engineering change notices into the manufacturing and Tier 1 supplier system. This will include reading and executing engineering drawings manufacturing requirements and supplier requirements into the Otis systems.
The candidate will work on special projects tied to factory efficiency and dual sourcing within the systems. This will include setting up a manufacturing bill of materials and factory paths within the system. The candidate will also focus on engineering CN testing process and create a process to quickly test within database or system.
The candidate must be a selfstarter with excellent interpersonal skills and be able to collaborate effectively. The candidate will work on crossfunctional teams including members from manufacturing operations supply management contract logistics finance and field support to ensure engineering changes are implemented with pace and accuracy.
Education:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field
