PathPoint is seeking parttime and fulltime Job Coaches in Santa Barbara CA. Job Coaches support adults with disabilities at their place of work helping them maintain successful employment and enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done.

About PathPoint: PathPoint is a nonprofit dedicated to helping people flourish. We partner with children adults and families to foster hope build life skills access support systems and form meaningful relationships. We serve communities across Kern Los Angeles San Luis Obispo Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.

Schedule: 20 hours per week hours vary depending on client schedule. Evening and weekend availability is needed for this position.

Compensation: This is an hourly position starting at $22.50 per hour. If you are bilingual (Spanish or ASL and skill is needed) the starting wage is $22.80 per hour. The pay range for this position is $16.03$25.24 the pay range is subject to change based on a variety of factors.

What Youll Do:

• Work independently with individuals oneonone at their place of work
• Support individuals in maintaining successful employment and enjoying the satisfaction of a job well done
• Coach and counsel individuals on job responsibilities and concerns including assisting with training understanding and growing in opportunities for improvement and navigating coworker/supervisor relationships
• Solicit feedback from workplace supervisors and turn it into actionable training goals
• Document hours of service provided and individual progress
• Flexible scheduling options including day evening and weekend shifts

What Were Looking For:

• Patience compassion and positivity
• Prior experience supporting or instructing individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required; if you are interested in this opportunity but do not have directly relevant experience wed still love to hear from you!
• Ability to coach/train others in a positive way.
• Must have a valid California drivers license with a satisfactory driving record 5 years of driving experience and be eligible for coverage on PathPoints auto insurance policy.
• Culturally aware acknowledges diverse employee backgrounds possesses skills to collaborate across cultures and avoids biased assumptions based on cultural differences.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
