Minimum Qualification:
Masters Degree
Two 2 years nursing experience
Licensed Registered Nurse in Arkansas; APRN/CPN License or PA with State Medical Board.
Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
Must be able to operate all typical nursing equipment essential to performing the job (i.e. scales procedure equipment needles blood pressure equipment and EKG machines).
Must have normal communication sensory requirement.
Ability to comply with CDC Universal Precautions when indicated.
Preferred Qualifications :
Preferred nursing experience in endocrine or womens health.
Prescriptive authority and DEA license must be obtained after hire.
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
Delivers prenatal intrapartum and postpartum care to women including routine assessments screenings and management of complications.
Collaborates with maternalfetal medicine specialists to care for patients with conditions such as diabetes hypertension and placental abnormalities.
Supports laboring patients assist with deliveries and respond to obstetric emergencies in the labor and delivery unit.
Conducts newborn assessments manage common neonatal conditions and collaborate with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team for more complex cases.
Provides education on breastfeeding safe sleep practices infant care and postpartum mental health to families.
Engages in telehealth consultations to extend care to underserved populations ensuring access to specialized services.
Collaborates with obstetricians pediatricians lactation consultants and social workers to deliver holistic care to mothers and infants.
Engages in quality assurance and improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and care delivery processes.
Delivers care through mobile health units and community outreach programs ensuring access to services for women in rural areas.
Contributes to clinical research and provide education to medical students residents and other healthcare professionals.
May perform other duties assigned.
