Join our team as a Machine Operator Metal Cutting on 2nd shift! Were looking for a reliable safetyminded individual to help us process and cut metal materials with precision and care.
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Pay: $23$25 (based on experience)
Shift Premium: Additional $0.50/hr for 2nd shift
SignOn Bonus: $1000!
Shift: 2nd Shift
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machines to cut metal and material handling equipment (cranes forklifts etc.
Read and follow work orders setup notes and written instructions
Inspect and measure materials before and after processing
Set up equipment safely and accurately
Perform preventive maintenance on machines
Package and tag materials per specifications
Record quality measurements and track nonconforming materials
Communicate with team and sales reps for order accuracy
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Train others and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read and write
Basic math skills
Able to lift up to 40 lbs
Strong focus on safety
Material Handler certification (or willingness to get certified)
Experience in metal cutting
Forklift operation
Use of handheld measuring tools
Comfortable using computers
