SUMMARY
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating the burn table to process plate materials.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Select correct machine settings for optimal burning drilling and processing operations
- Measure materials to ensure conformance with design specifications
- Select appropriate material type stock size and dimensions as required
- Transfer data onto materials
- Keep a clean organized and safe work area
- Keep and manage an accurate record of daily operations and materials usage
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have experienced operating CNC machines
- Experienced with operating overhead crane is preferred
- Ability to interpret CAD drawings symbols and notes
- Ability to read tape measure to within 1/16
- Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time
