Description of the role:
The Lot Attendant/Cleanup/Porter role at Kate Faupel Fordin Henderson Kentucky is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot and showroom. This position plays a vital role in providing a positive experience for our customers by ensuring a clean and visually appealing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Keep the dealership lot and showroom clean and wellmaintained
- Perform regular inspections and cleanups of the lot removing any trash or debris
- Ensure vehicles are parked in their designated areas and properly organized
- Assist with washing detailing and preparing vehicles for display and test drives
- Assist in moving vehicles to and from the service area
- Provide support to the sales and service departments as needed
- Pick up and drop off customers
- Transport vehicles
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid drivers license

- Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed and replacing batteries when necessary
- Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
- Keep lots neat and orderly moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
- Drive vehicles to and from service lane service stalls and parking lot as needed
- Make key tags for and handle inventory of vehicles
- Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Able to work flexible schedules and some weekends
- Positive attitude cando mentality confident outgoing personality eagerness to improve
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional attitude and the ability to deliver bestinclass customer service
- Reliable transportation to and from work every single day
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
