Financial Analyst 4PL Melbourne or Brisbane
The Opportunity
At Toll we move the businesses that move the world. Toll 4PL logistics and procurement capabilities are effectively demonstrated through the procurement and delivery of more than fortythousand product lines required by Defence. The key objective is to harness smartbuying principles from multiple suppliers across Australia to reduce costs and significantly improve the procurement delivery and management of Defence commodities.
Toll 4PL has recently gone live with a SAP/S4 HANA based Supply Marketplace designed to improve efficiencies.
The Finance Analyst position supports the operational commercial and finance teams. This role is crucial to timeliness of invoicing ensuring 3rd party expenses are recovered and smooth running of general financial administration activities.
As the Financial Analyst you will:
Create Customer invoices and perform required checks to ensure accuracy.
Validate Supplier invoices through SAP/S4 HANA system to ensure accuracy.
Proactively review system Reports for potential errors.
Help establish and document processes for supporting invoicing.
Submit vendor maintenance requests for new supplier creation.
Assist with onboarding new suppliers including facilitating the of Supply Agreements.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need:
Strong excel skills required to work with large sets of data extracted from systems (VLOOKUPs pivot tables).
Understanding and experience of finance administrative concepts including the management and reconciliation of invoices.
Ability to prioritise tasks to ensure tasks are completed in an efficient manner.
Attention to detail and the ability to stay focused on highly detailed tasks.
Effective communication skills to provide clear updates on progress and challenges.
Experience using SAP S/4HANA desirable.
