Certified Carpentry Teacher General CarpentryWe are seeking a dynamic and dedicated High School Carpentry Teacher to join the CTE department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating and inspiring students. This role involves developing and delivering engaging curriculum fostering critical thinking problemsolving skills and preparing students for college and careers in Carpentry and related Responsibilities:Curriculum Development and Instruction:Design and implement a comprehensive Carpentry curriculum aligned with state and national various Carpentry courses including introductory and advanced lesson plans instructional materials and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles and projectbased learning and realworld applications to make Carpentry concepts accessible and Engagement and Support:Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity creativity and individualized support and feedback to help students achieve their academic and career students in handson projects experiments and challenges that enhance their problemsolving Development and Collaboration:Stay current with developments in Carpentry education and integrate new teaching methods and with colleagues in the department to develop interdisciplinary projects and in school meetings professional development sessions and contribute to the schools extracurricular programs such as clubs or and Reporting:Evaluate and assess student progress through tests quizzes projects and other formative and summative accurate and timely records of student performance attendance and effectively with students parents and school administration regarding student progress and :Valid teaching certification or license in secondary education with a focus on CarpentryExperience:Previous teaching experience at the high school level is highly experience in a Carpentry and Competencies:Strong knowledge of Carpentry principles practices and communication organizational and classroom management to motivate and engage students with diverse backgrounds and learning in using educational technology.
