We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate mobile experienced engineer to join our team.
Key job responsibilities
As an SDE in our team you will play a key role in shaping the future of online shopping. You will work on tooling and test automation software designed to support the building of accessible features on the Amazon retail application and site. In this role youll work closely with Technical Project Managers Senior Engineers and contacts from across Amazon to develop solutions that are not only effective but also userfriendly. We are looking for an independent creative customerobsessed flexible mobile (iOS and Android) and web experienced Software Development Engineer. In addition to being able to work across web and mobile you need to have an experimental mindset. We seek someone who loves learning seeks out new challenges and can design and write reliable maintainable and highperformance code in a highly collaborative environment.

We are the Worldwide Stores accessibility team. Our vision is to ensure every Amazon customer can achieve their goals with equivalent efficiency. We invent and scale solutions to empower customers with disabilities and simplify the way builders deliver experiences that are born accessible. We are committed to enhancing accessibility across Amazons services and believe that equal access is nonnegotiable. We use metrics to help leaders understand the accessibility of their services; surface risk to ensure leaders are prepared to meet accessibility regulations worldwide; and provide frameworks to help leaders prioritize the needs of CWD in relation to the needs of their business.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Mobile development experience (iOS and Android).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
