Role title: Volunteer Services Coordinator

Role type:Permanent full time

Location:St Vincents private hospital Darlinghurst and Mater private hospital North Sydney

Salary:$80717.49 super

About the role

  • Work with managers and volunteers across each facility to identify where volunteers can enhance care

  • Engage with community to recruit to available volunteer positions

  • Screen and onboard volunteers gathering and retaining relevant documentation

  • Provide ongoing support for volunteers by being present and available both onsite and by telephone/Microsoft Teams

  • Coordinate rosters with department heads and also with volunteers

  • Each week you will have a combination of days spent at St Vincents Darlinghurst the Mater in North Sydney and working from home

About you

  • Personal commitment to the Mission of St Vincents

  • Ability to work with a range of stakeholders to develop effective relationships and partnerships

  • Ability to work flexibly and responsively in larger organisations with various sites and departments

  • Welldeveloped organisational and time management skills

  • Previous experience in a volunteer coordinator role or a recruitment coordinator role or a similar coordinator role
