Job Description
Doyle Security Services Inc. (DSS) is seeking experienced Security Officers in the Bloomfield area for an Educational Facility.
PAY RATE: $17.50
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
- Monday to Friday 7AM to 3PM

JOB SUMMARY: Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel visitors and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.
Responsibilities include providing a safe and secure environment for students staff and guests inside the school. Establishing and maintaining good rapport with parents students staff and community members. Monitoring hallways stairwells toilet facilities outside facilities and other public and unsupervised placed of the school. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students and staff and the security of the school. Assisting with with fire drills crises and other emergency building evacuations and situations. Assisting administrators and staff in crisis and emergency situations. Ensuring a smooth traffic flow of students through the hallways assisting students with ontime arrival to class and to assigned locations. Supervise and direct student movement during arrival and dismissal. Updating security records logs and reports. Ensuring all doors and gates are locked and that all alarms are engaged at designated times. Assisting staff and emergency personnel in handling emergencies and deescalating disruptive situations that may arise on campus.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid (SORA) Security Guard License
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form.
Preferred
- CPR Certification
