Job Summary:

The Quality Control Manager at Seaside Vacation Homes is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness safety and overall guest experience are met across all vacation rental properties. This role involves overseeing the inspection and assisting in maintenance of properties collaborate with the Manager of housekeeping and the Operations Manager for maintenance items beyond their scope of work and implementing quality control processes to enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a detailoriented leader with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences ensuring that all properties are prepared to exceed expectations and meet both company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily quality control operations across all vacation homes ensuring each property is cleaned maintained and ready for guests.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Work closely with the Manager of Housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure the timely completion of quality checks and necessary repairs.
  • Preform maintenance tasks that can be quickly resolved with oversight from the General Manager approximately 4 hours daily of maintenance tasks will be expected.
  • Daily meeting with maintenance and property care admins to create thresholds to complete maintenance task onsite with documented goals on an ongoing agenda forecasting for next 48 hours.
  • Lead the quality control policies procedures and training to promote consistency and excellence across all properties.
  • Monitor guest feedback and address concerns related to property cleanliness condition and overall experience.
  • Create KPIs in the Quality Department to analyze quality control data to identify trends improve processes and make recommendations for enhancing property standards.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure properties are in line with brand expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Housekeeping to maintain inventory control for cleaning and maintenance supplies ensuring all materials are stocked and in good condition.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed including the maintenance of fire safety security measures and emergency preparedness.
  • Back up for the Homeowner Relations Manager and Property Care Manager

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in quality control or property management within the hospitality or vacation rental industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of health safety and environmental regulations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicles.

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to stand walk and climb ladders for 810 hours per day.
  • The ability to move freely between properties and manage property inspections which may include navigating stairs uneven surfaces and tight spaces.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. occasionally such as when inspecting equipment or supplies.
  • Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions (e.g. outdoor inspections in various weather conditions).
  • Must be able to bend stoop twist kneel on occasion.

    Drug screening will not be conducted without your written consent. All results are kept strictly confidential and will only be shared with authorized personnel involved in the hiring process.




  5. Right to Retest and Appeal:
    In accordance with Oregon law if you test positive you have the right to request a retest of your original sample at your own expense. Instructions for requesting a retest or appealing results will be provided with your lab report.
