Position Title: Special Education Inclusion Paraprofessional
Location: Elementary Campus
Beginning: July 2025
Qualifications:
Paraprofessional Certificate or qualified to apply for same
Previous experience preferred but not required
Duties/Responsibilities:
Demonstrate thoroughness and a high degree of reliability in performing work assignments
Maintain good attendance and punctuality
Cooperate with principal supervising teachers and other staff members in achieving campus goals
Ability to respond professionally to parents staff and students
Follow guidelines/lesson plans as directed by supervising teacher
Assist in students personal hygiene dressing meals communication with other staff/therapists and any other needs of student
Possibly direct instruction implementing IEPs
Provide positive reinforcement
Assist with any mobility needs
Monitor student progress on life skills goals and document observations
Coordinate with other staff to coordinate care
Perform other duties as assigned
