This is a NonEmployee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAAs family of companies and will be employed by TIAAs preferred 3rd Party Supplier. CWIT Infrastructure Analyst IVThe Technical Lead Infrastructure job manages the installation configuration and maintenance of IT systems software and hardware for multiuser server computers. This job meets end user needs by confirming that uptime performance resource availability and security of computers are within established operational guidelines. Under limited supervision this job manages largescale projects and is recognized as a subject matter expert in the Technology Infrastructure field. This role uses their knowledge of computer languages and operations to find and fix problems in computer networks such as network communications errors storage problems and malfunctioning server platforms.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Leads the routinely performed analysis during normal IT Infrastructure operation including on networks firewalls servers operating systems applications and devices.
- Oversees the acquisition installation and any upgraded computer components and software and planning for service outages and other problems.
- Approves automation of routine tasks using scripting and writing basic computer programs to address more complex systems software configuration and enhancement.
- Reviews domain solutions and executes changes in line with the implementation plan.
- Communicates project operational and strategy risks and opportunities to senior management along with corrective action plans when required.
- Publishes metrics to qualify and quantify configuration success and ensures that configuration practices are in compliance with standards.
- Approves documentation as it relates to domain configuration routing processes and service records.
- Ensures successful delivery on all project and operational commitments including quality and timeliness metrics.
- Coaches mentors and delegates work to lower level professionals.

Sr. Data Center Engineer
TIAA is seeking a Sr. Data Center Engineer for their Broomfield CO office. This position is considered essential to our data center operations. This role will provide infrastructure management for essential operational components such as policies processes equipment data and external contacts for overall datacenter support operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare data center white space to ensure power space cooling (airflow/temperature) and infrastructure standards are met.
- Provide general IT Infrastructure skills with a systematic approach to troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Provide process for data center IT asset lifecycle management from installation to operational support and ultimately asset retirement. Installation/deinstallation of network cabling throughout data center and similar hardware; ensures PII data is handled within TIAA guidelines.
- Manages daily workload and afterhours support of onsite cable vendors. Consists of both physical project instructions as well as issuing operational work requests via Service Now.
- Move equipment racks and materials between physical locations in the same data center.
- Creates CAD templates and sets new design standards for HighDensity deployments.
- Generates/distributes reports connected to the operation of a data center.
- Provide support to engineers to understand VLAN and network requirements for new IT infrastructure technologies.
- Perform Asset Management tasking in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and maintain CAD and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) elevation/floorplan data.
- Prepares electrical quotes and manages circuit installation prepares cabinets with power distribution and maintains PDU schedules.
- Acts as the first point of contact for connectivity power cooling anomalies and perform oncall roles on a rotational basis.
- Research order test and select new technology products for data center solution delivery.
- Provide inventory tracking and updating to maintain a valid count of material and supplies.
- Monitor and respond to environmental security and equipment monitoring systems.
- Partner and engage with corporate services facilities management vendor for MEP/environmental data center issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience performing maintenance and installation of mission critical infrastructure systems in a Data Center.
- Good collaboration skills with proven experience engaging with and partnering with peers and stakeholders. Experience providing IT technical customer support.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure hardware including their designs uses repair and maintenance.
- Ability to use DCIM and CAD software to aid in data center whitespace capacity planning.
- Solid Microsoft Office skills and experience using Collaboration software such as Microsoft Teams/SharePoint and Zoom.
- Capability to work in a physically demanding environment.
