Job Description

We are currently seeking a Trade Compliance and Supply Chain Specialist who will be responsible for monitoring and documenting compliance activities advising leadership and management on compliance matters and liaising with government agencies. Also assisting our Supply Chain in various related activities.

What well get you doing:

  • Collaborate with the crossfunctional teams to ensure timely customs clearance for parts and materials
  • Communicating with Corporate Trade Compliance
  • Work with customs brokers and logistics providers to expedite shipments as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and its suppliers.
  • Data entry of all style information required to support the classification analysis to determine the correct HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) codes.
  • Gathering information regarding risks and issues reviewing status of projects
  • Understanding compliance requirements in assigned geography
  • Creating and maintaining procedures ensuring the consistency and accuracy of the import process

  • Working with Logistics and Buyer/Planners
  • Providing daily reports to leadership
  • Create and refine processes for analyzing data related to supply chain and operations.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to sourcing and supply.
  • Assist key team members such as the Operations Director Material Supervisor and Supply Chain Analyst in daytoday operations and strategic projects.
  • Provide data and insights to support decisionmaking and operational goals.
  • Use data analysis to identify trends track supply chain performance and support operational improvements.

The essential requirements of the role include:

  • Associate degree required bachelors degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Trade Compliance Specialist.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to keep accurate records and ability to multitask
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Oracle

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Supply Chain/Purchasing
  • Inventory Analyst
  • Kanban

The salary range for this role is 63900..00 USD Annual. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
