About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Individual ApartmentLiving team on a PartTime contract! Your role will entailproviding dropin support in apartment complexes locatedinKogarah Rockdale and Woolooware Bay.
This model of support is designed to promote independence andprivacy for our clients living with disability. Being based inresidential apartment complexes across Rockdale Kogarah andWoolooware Bay your role would be to maintain our clientschoice voice and control in their daily lives. The support weprovide includes but is not limited to assistance with manualhandling personal care social support as well as cooking andcleaning assistance.
In this model planned and unplanned support is provided so notwo days may look the same. Thus this role would suit someone whohas the tenacity and confidence to work with people with complexsupport needs and has the capability to triage calls and ensure theneeds of our clients are maintained and respected.
Success in this role looks like:
- Experience in either disability support or aged care ideally with clients who have high intensity support needs
- Experience and confidence in manual handling requirements
- Ability to connect with and support our clients to live independently in their own home
- Clear communication skills both verbal and written
- Having the ability to be quick thinking and manage competing demands
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Teams Outlook and other online programs
- Willingness to be a team player to support your colleagues and clients
- Ability to work by yourself as well as in a team
About the shifts
We are looking for PartTime staff to join our IndividualApartment Living Team. If successful you will be working acrossour sites in Kogarah Rockdale and WooloowareBay.
Our current vacant shift times include:
- Monday to Sunday: 6am till 10am (Short Morning)
- Monday to Sunday: 10pm till 6am (Active Night)
Successful candidates will be contracted to fill the aboveshifts. These times are not flexible so please ensure thatthe above aligns with what you can commit to prior to applying.
