Business Development Analyst

How youll make an impact
Success in this role is attained by maintaining the ideal partner/customer experience with existing members who have joined us in the mission to accelerate the fight against cancer through utilization of Niowaves medical isotope portfolios and creating that experience for new partners/customers as our portfolio expands. *Please note this is relationship management position and not a sales/commission role*
What you will achieve
Internal/External Strategy
  • Works with Management Team to support strategies to ensure business is secured and revenue goals are met.
  • Understands the customers/partners business and product development strategies.
  • Supports the gotomarket (GTM) strategy pricing and program strategy. Facilitates the contract negotiation process for partnering and supply agreements.
  • Accountable for replying to proposals securing logistical and contractual details as well as displaying the ability to identify creative commercial solutions to deliver financial results.
  • Identifies trends in the marketplace; communicates competitive situations with customers or within industry.
  • Oversee market analysis monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs.
  • Provide analysis and supporting materials in the planning designing due diligence and implementing of strategic business objectives.
  • Build and maintain a repository of corporate and other research findings.
  • Supports the development of the Niowave brand and its marketing through traditional social and digital channels.
Communication
  • Engages clients in meaningful ways as part of Niowaves partnering culture.
  • Communicates and works to resolve customers satisfaction concerns.
  • Addresses conflict and other barriers to collaboration directly and constructively adapting to cultural norms and expectations when appropriate.
Industry Knowledge
  • Comprehends complex sciencebased issues specific to drug development contract research and relevant regulations; able to articulate Niowaves position in the supply chain and understand the customers/partners technical needs.
  • Actively seeks out and participates in both formal and informal training opportunities to continuously develop interpersonal technical and professional skills.
What you need to succeed.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment within broadly defined practices and policies.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management partners and team members staff and customers displaying a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills; excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills; Strong computer skills (communication presentation and reporting).
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively across functional groups and stakeholders.
  • Embraces and models the Niowave Values of Teamwork Courage Integrity and Upright Zeal.
  • Understands how to integrate into a new team/organization appreciates the history of current state knows how and when to make suggestions as well as uses just the right pace to reach the improved future state.
  • Understands your own communication and learning styles can assess others styles and is able to find the right path to connect the two.
Required education and experience
  • Bachelors degree in business or other related field.
  • 12 years of work or internship experience in sales business development or technical consulting experience with an emphasis on relationship management.
Preferred education and experience
  • Masters degree in business administration or other related field.
  • 3 5 years of sales business development or technical consulting experience with an emphasis on relationship management.
  • Focus on life sciences medical radioisotopes drug development or contract research is a plus.
Other things to note
  • FullTime Salary/Exempt position.
  • The companys standard operating hours are Monday thru Friday 6a 6p with production related activities requiring 24/7/365 shifts.
  • This position will have regular working hours during M F with an expectation of adjusting to meet with internal and external stakeholders outside of the standard operating hours as needed.
  • Niowave has multiple locations within the Lansing area. Travel between locations is expected in the role.
  • Additional travel requirements include: site visits with partners/customers; attending industry meetings/conferences.
