Job Description
AYES / PRIVATE POSTING This is a private posting for CFISD High School students only.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Perform routine maintenance and service (tire service oil changes transmission services) on school vehicles under the supervision of the Shop Foreman.
2. Keep shop equipment and tools clean and in safe and efficient operating condition.
3. Safe operation of center fuel island and wash rack to refuel and wash vehicles.
4. Keep center fuel island and wash rack stocked and in proper working order.
5. Assist vehicle technicians and mechanic helpers with the operation of all tools and equipment repair as needed.
6. Access and utilize printed/electronic service material and follow manufacturers established diagnostic and repair procedures.
7. Maintain accurate updated records of time and materials required to perform repairs service and preventive maintenance assignments.
8. Operate tools equipment and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures.
9. Follow and promote safety in the shop by ensuring established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties (including lifting climbing etc. are followed.
