In this role as a Part Time Video Editor youll play a key role in shaping our video content by focusing on editing and optimizing highquality visuals for a variety of projects. Working closely with our growing Video and Growth Creative team youll primarily focus on postproduction tasks ensuring that our content is engaging polished and aligned with the brand. While editing will be at the heart of your responsibilities youll also have opportunities to contribute to the creative process from planning and brainstorming to shooting.
The ideal candidate is a skilled and passionate editor with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of storytelling through video. Your expertise in editing will directly impact the success of our Meta ads and digital marketing campaigns while also supporting the creation of highproduction brand content.
What youll do:
- Focus on editing highquality brand videos and shortform content ensuring each piece is engaging effective and onbrand.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to create a mix of highquality brand videos and performancedriven iPhone ads that align with the company vision and brand.
- Transport set up and operate production equipment including video audio and lighting gear for both highproduction and quickturn digital shoots.
- Brainstorm creative storytelling concepts develop storyboards and help organize shoots as a key member of the Growth Creative Team.
- Assist with scriptwriting and other asset development.
- Operate and maintain highend camera equipment microphones audio feeds and lighting while also shooting content on an iPhone as needed.
- Edit and optimize video content for various platforms with a focus on Meta ads and digital marketing campaigns.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 12 years of professional video production experience.
- Proficiency in professional editing softwareAdobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve (DaVinci Resolve preferred).
- Experience with video lighting setups.
- Comfortable shooting and editing content using an iPhone.
- Ability to source and secure additional equipment as needed for shoots.
- Bonus: Experience working with Sony cameras.
- Bonus: Comfortable being in front of the camera.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
