Your Role as a Chemistry Teacher (ECT)
Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4 using engaging and effective teaching strategies.
Bring Chemistry to life through practical activities demonstrations and realworld applications.
Monitor student progress adapt lessons to suit a range of learning needs and provide constructive feedback.
Work closely with your mentor and colleagues to develop your confidence and teaching skills.
Take part in enrichment opportunities such as science clubs themed days or trips.
What Were Looking For
A Chemistry Teacher with (or expecting to receive) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Chemistry.
A positive reflective mindset and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
