About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our team at a thriving state school in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity for a regular teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with the possibility of Key Stage 5 for those with experience) in a school that values both academic excellence and creative expression. You will play a key role in developing students artistic abilities and helping them express their creativity through a range of media.
What Were Looking For
We are seeking an Art Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art Fine Art or Art & Design.
Has experience or enthusiasm for teaching Art across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Is passionate about nurturing students creativity and helping them develop their technical skills in various artistic media.
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a studentcentred approach to teaching.
Is committed to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment for all students.
Enjoys being part of a collaborative team and contributing to the wider school community.

What Youll Be Doing
As an Art Teacher your responsibilities will include:
Teaching Art across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential for ALevel teaching depending on experience.
Planning and delivering engaging creative lessons in a variety of artistic media including drawing painting printmaking and digital art.
Encouraging students to develop their creative expression and critical thinking skills through art.
Supporting students progress through regular assessments feedback and tailored support.
Participating in schoolwide initiatives and extracurricular activities such as art exhibitions art clubs and projects.
Collaborating with colleagues to refine and develop the curriculum ensuring it meets the needs and interests of all students.
