About the Role
As Mainframe z/OS ISV Products Administrator you will be part of a skilled global team managing the installation maintenance and support of ISV and IBM software products. Youll work with key tools like SMP/E REXX and JCL to ensure stability and performance across largescale enterprise environments.
What Youll Be Doing
- Install and Maintain Software: You will install and configure ISV and IBM products on z/OS systems ensuring they are working smoothly.
- Troubleshoot Issues: You will help solve problems analyze system errors and find solutions to improve the systems performance.
- Work with Tools: You will use tools like SMP/E JCL REXX and TSO to optimize mainframe operations.
- Collaborate: Work with other teams to ensure systems run efficiently and provide support to customers as needed.
- Improve Systems: Contribute to ongoing projects aimed at enhancing system performance and functionality.
Required Skills
- Solid experience in mainframe software administration and z/OS system tools.
- Handson with ISV tools such as CA OPS/MVS ACF2 SAS CA TLMS CA View ChangeMan ZMF etc.
- Proficiency in REXX/CLIST scripting and using JCL SDSF TSO.
- Good understanding of z/OS operations software maintenance and performance monitoring.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Db2 CICS IMS and compiler products.
- Experience with z/OS ISHELL/OpenMVS.
- Knowledge of ITSM tools like ServiceNow or SM9.
- Certifications related to mainframe administration are a plus.
- Coordination or subproject leadership experience is an advantage.
