Adelphi is seeking Physical Therapists to provide Physical Therapy Services at a school District in Newcastle Delaware. The Physical Therapist will support students educational success through screenings evaluations direct therapy and collaborative planning with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Current State of Delaware License in Physical Therapy.
Experience working with students who have mild to severe disabilities.
Experience within Delaware public school systems preferred.
Evidence of criminal background check clearance.
Current Mantoux tuberculin test with a negative or inactive positive result.
Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings and comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
Deliver PT services in: classrooms community environments small groups individual sessions & consultation.
Prepare thorough and timely reports on student evaluations and progress.
Develop & implement therapy goals aligned with students IEPs following district procedures.
Attend and participate actively in IEP meetings to discuss student needs goals eligibility and service delivery options.
Recommend adapt and implement supportive and adaptive equipment to enhance student participation and access.
Collaborate effectively with teachers parents aides administrators and other related service providers.
Maintain ongoing communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and therapy plans.
Follow district guidelines for Medicaid Cost Recovery documentation and reporting.
Participate in staff development activities including those scheduled on district inservice days.
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team using a transdisciplinary approach to service delivery.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
