Job Description
The AGI team is responsibly advancing Amazons generative AI technologies including the companys most expansive multimodal foundation models. AGI Autonomy works to augment human intelligence by creating realworld digital agents. We are hiring a Software Development Engineer to help build workflows and processes for agent capabilities to delight consumer and enterprise customers with practical AI solutions.
Key job responsibilities
We are looking for passionate hardworking and talented Software Engineers who have experience building innovative mission critical high volume applications that customers love. You will have an opportunity to make a large impact on the design architecture and implementation of products used every day by people you know.
Responsible for development and maintenance of core modules and services.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against fastpaced schedules.
Will work with scientists and software engineers to evaluate technical feasibility investigate design approaches and prototype and develop new technology.

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
