We are seeking passionate and highly skilled pastry professionals dedicated to achieving Forbes 5Star standards in every dessert amenity and pastry creation. The ideal candidate is detailoriented creative and committed to delivering an ultraluxury culinary experience.
Specifically we are looking for:
- Experience in Forbes 5Star Michelinstar or ultrafine dining pastry kitchens with a strong foundation in classical and modern pastry techniques
- Expertise in chocolate work sugar work viennoiserie and plated desserts with an emphasis on precision and artistry
- A deep passion for hospitality and fine dining with a relentless pursuit of perfection in presentation and flavor
- Ability to execute and refine highend pastry menus for la carte dining banquets and specialty amenities
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency
- Commitment to cleanliness organization and food safety protocols ensuring a seamless and professional kitchen environment
- Required to obtain a valid food handlers card prior to receiving an offer
- Full availability including mornings evenings weekends and holidays to meet the needs of our worldclass operation

What will I be doing
As a Waldorf Cook Pastryyou will play a key role in our mission to achieve Forbes 5Star recognition by crafting exquisite pastries breads and desserts that set a new standard for luxury dining. Your expertise in pastry arts from delicate plated desserts to intricate chocolate work and signature amenities will contribute to an unparalleled guest experience. With a focus on precision creativity and technical mastery you will help elevate our pastry program to the highest levels of excellence.
Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Create prepare and bake an array of pastries breads viennoiseries and desserts with meticulous attention to detail and quality
- Execute intricate chocolate work sugar work and specialty amenities with artistry and technical expertise
- Develop and refine pastry items for la carte service banquet menus and VIP amenities ensuring each creation aligns with our aspiration for Forbes 5Star and Michelinstar recognition
- Ensure precision in preparation and presentation maintaining consistency in flavor texture and visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and uphold food sanitation standards at all times adhering to local and federal regulations
- Manage ingredient inventory proper storage and rotation ensuring freshness and minimizing waste
- Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and enhance the pastry program while maintaining the integrity of classic techniques
- Contribute to the guest experience through personalized and artistic pastry presentations that exceed expectations
- Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items ensuring a seamless workflow in the pastry kitchen
The rate of pay for this role is $32.0321 $42.7094 and is based on applicable and specialized experience.
