Job Description
- Conduct thorough patient consultations and health assessments.
- Perform Ayurvedic diagnostics to identify imbalances and health issues.
- Create customized treatment plans based on Ayurvedic principles.
- Prescribe herbal medicines and dietary modifications for optimal health.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients about Ayurveda including lifestyle and dietary recommendations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote Ayurvedic practices.
- Stay updated on the latest research and trends in Ayurvedic medicine.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practices.
- Provide guidance on Yoga and meditation techniques.
- Manage patients with chronic health conditions through integrative approaches.
- Conduct followups to assess treatment effectiveness.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training.
- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree.
- Registered with the respective Ayurvedic Council.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an OPD or clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of Ayurvedic pharmacology and treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to empathize and build rapport with patients.
- Familiarity with modern medical practices and integration of Ayurveda.
- Proficient in case documentation and patient management systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Experience in community health outreach or education is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of alternative medicine practices.
- Understanding of dietary and lifestyle counseling.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Willingness to participate in workshops and seminars.
