Perks for being aRenault team member:
Set up and breakdown of banquetrooms according to event details.
Assembleand breakdown of banquet tables and chairs as per floor plans.
Setupand breakdown of buffet tables including risers linens plate ware andsilverware as per event requirements
Disassembleconference rooms at appropriate break down times requiring bending and liftingup to 70pound conference and banquet tables onto 4wheel carts liftingbanquet chairs in stacks of 10 up to 6 foot height.
Mustbe able to push pull and lift a variety of conference tables and otherequipment weighing up to 100 pounds; put risers into place each weighing 150pounds; move chairs of various weights and styles.
Walkingand pushing large equipment carts. Also must be able to lift and place varietyof miscellaneous conference equipment weighing up to 60 pounds such asstanchions chairs etc.
Move100pound stacks of 10 chairs to storage room 250 feet or more to and fromfunction room. Must be able to lift tables to storage areas and placing inappropriate section.
Respondpromptly and courteously to all customer requests and involve the manager whennecessary.
Abilityto work independently or with a team.
Maintaincleanliness of all event and storage rooms back of house with daily cleaning.
Assistin maintenance/housekeeping of all common areas as designated by management.
Communicatewith clients for special needs and requests.
Cleanall meeting rooms consistently in the following areas; dust wood work polishglass and mirrors polish railings vacuum and spot clean carpeting.
Keepsequipment and store room in excellent order.
MonthlyEquipment Inventories
Mustbe able to work weekends and holidays when needed as required by businesslevels with all schedules/shifts subject to change.
Assistwith guest facing events
Assistother departments within the resort if needed
Performall assigned side work such as replenishing condiments and restocking sidestands
Performgeneral cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
Keepwork area and storage rooms clean and organized
Completeother duties as assigned by supervisor
AttendMandatory meetings
Attendance:Adheres to established schedule of work hours. Follows established proceduresfor early notification to supervisor when unable to report to work.
Punctuality:Arrives to work at scheduled times and works until authorized to
Attendsall mandatory education/inservice programs and demonstrates understanding ofresponsibilities through appropriate actions.
Demonstrateseffective communication by utilizing positive verbal and nonverbal skills inall interactions.
Mustbe able to work a flexible schedule and extra hours when needed.
Requirements
BanquetHouseman experience preferred
Basicknowledge of the appropriate table settings service ware basic wine and menuitems
Abilityto read write and speak the English language fluently in order to completeforms inventories read billings invoices and communicate with coworkers andpurveyors
Priorhospitality experience preferred
Motivationto work hard and remain flexible in a fastpaced environment
Demonstratesprofessionalism and is punctual and reliable
Demonstratesadherence to the resorts safe practice procedures and makes recommendations toimprove safety. Reports any unsafe work practice to supervisor.
Utilizesproper body mechanics in performance of responsibilities as evidenced bysupervisors observation and no injury to self or others due to improper workhabits.
Followsproper reporting procedures when injured at work. Is aware of the location ofmaterial safety data sheets and refers to them when necessary.
Alwaysacts in a manner that is in keeping with all local state & governmentalcodes and laws and maintains the highest standards of health sanitation andcleanliness.
Responsiblefor assisting in service set up and cleanup of all banquet functions whilefollowing local health department standards and department standards as wellas going above and beyond to ensure that guests are 100 satisfied.
