Job Description
Mountain Land Physical Therapy is seeking a fulltime Patient Billing Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management team at our home office in Cottonwood Heights Utah. The role of the Patient Billing Specialist is vital in assisting the RCM Director to ensure accurate patient billing and timely collections at Mountain Land. This position involves reviewing and resolving patient balances direct communication with patients and maintaining accuracy and compliance with insurance regulations. This role supports our mission of exceeding team members and patients expectations by addressing patient inquiries with empathy proactively resolving collection issues and providing clear and precise explanation of charges claims and payment policies.

Pay: $18.00 an hour
Hours & Benefits: This is a fulltime fully benefited position that is eligible to receive medical dental vision and life insurances as well as 401k PTO and wellness incentives. Benefits add roughly 2030 to the above pay range.
Location: Cottonwood Heights Utah with occasional opportunities to work remotely.
- One year of medical office experience or two years medical billing experience
- Strong communication skills to handle sensitive financial discussions with patients
- Ability to efficiently problem solve
- Medical Billing Certification preferred
