Job Description
Are you interested in building the next generation cloudbased commerce system for AWS AWS Commerce Platform (CP) allows customers to purchase AWS services. CP teams tackle some of the hardest scalability performance and distributed computing challenges in the world processing trillions of events per month. We are looking for a talented Senior Product Manager Tech who has a passion to develop distributed systems at scale to help build the next generation of AWS internal services. As a foundational system we scale with the growth of cloud computing at Amazon. The Monetizations engineering team team is responsible for transforming our manual operations via ideating and automating complex manual processes that process $36 Billion worth of bills each year. These include but are not limited to enabling: monthly bill run process for highly specialized custom contracts generating and delivering monthly customers billing statements automating and maintaining bill audits via implementing an easytouse configurable audit framework.
Key job responsibilities
* Create a product roadmap to automate manual operational processes currently supported by 300 analysts to ensure timely and accurate delivery of billing artifacts to enterprisegrade AWS customers
* Define vision metrics and prioritization framework to create a multiyear automation roadmap to drive org alignment
* Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical .
* Write and present PFFAQs decisiondocs and other standard product development docs to drive org alignment on the product vision.
* Articulate technology requirements/BRDs for a features/APIs (e.g. performance latency) and raise right technical questions to identify risks in technology design choices.
* Execute on the published roadmap in partnership with Ops engineering Legal Accounting and Sales
* Provide effective written and verbal updates on the products and key projects to senior leadership and stakeholders

We are a team of technical product managers software engineers and data engineers responsible for transforming our manual operations via ideating and automating complex manual processes that process $36 Billion worth of bills each year via software services that scale to the need and seamlessly integrate with exiting Commerce Platform solution stack.
Utility Computing (UC)
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations from foundational services such as Amazons Simple Storage Service (S3 and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2 to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWSs services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization youll support the development and management of Compute Database Storage Internet of Things (Iot) Platform and Productivity Apps services in AWS including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Bachelors degree
5 years of end to end product delivery experience
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executivelevel prioritization and planning
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
7 years of end to end product delivery experience
Experience with developing enterprise level technical solutions with focus on transforming manual operations into product ideas.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235200/year in our highest geographic market.
