Under the general direction of theAssistant State Superintendent of Financial Policy Planning Operations &Strategy the Deputy Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for providingoversight and leadershiplevel support for the daytoday operations of policyand fiscal support including local financial requirements and reporting. TheDeputy Chief Financial Officer will work closely with the Senior ExecutiveDirector of Fiscal Operations on the Departments current budget and futurebudget development and financial operations. This position providesleadership and direction forcrossfunctional projects coordinates activities that involve membersof the Financial Policy Planning Operations & Strategy team and servesas a representative of the Assistant State Superintendent in meetings withstaff members across the Department and external stakeholders.
Duties Include:
Education: ABachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in BusinessAdministration Finance Accounting or a related field.
Experience: Tenyears of experience in State or federal budget finance policy andaccountability.
Notes: Candidates may substitute the possession of a Mastersdegree from an accredited college or university in a field related to theposition for two years of the required experience.
