Job Description
Mercury Electronics has a challenging opportunity available for a motivated Assembler I. Under the general direction of a Team Leader the Assembler I will be responsible for assembling wire cable assemblies and wire harnesses from customer schematic drawings and job orders using hand tools and small handheld power tools; perform other related duties as required.
Successful candidates will be able to:
- Read and comprehend simple written instructions sentences and paragraphs in workrelated documents
- Use the English measuring system
- Learn Metric measuring system
- Able to follow directions verbal or in writing
- Complete repetitive work
- Work standing up or sitting down as needed
- Pass training for schematic drawings diagrams and job orders
- Pass training for hand tools small handheld power tools and benchtop tools
- Visually distinguish all colors
- Lift up to 45 lbs. on a frequent and regular basis throughout the day
- IPC Certification a HUGE Plus!
