Job Description

Embassy Suites by Hilton Milpitas Silicon Valley is looking for its next Front Desk Agent! If you are passionate about customer service and working with people this is the perfect opportunity to join the team. We have 267 guest rooms 14 meeting rooms and 19000 square feet of event space.


The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

  • At least three 3 years of customer service experience is highly desired
  • A flexible schedule is needed
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
  • Experience with OnQ PM System for Front Desk is a plus

Hourly Rate: The hourly rate for this role is $20.25 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.


What will I be doing

As a Front Desk Agent you would be responsible for assisting Guest Service Agents in checking in and checking out guests in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Assist Guest Service Agents and Front Office leadership with the checking in and checking out of guests.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and in a timely friendly and efficient manner
  • Provide driving and/or walking directions to guests to local destinations
  • Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel including but not limited to directions hours of outlet operation hotel services hotel events and local and community events and attractions
  • Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
  • Provide or obtain accurate information

Other Compensation

Front Office Upselling Incentive Program Commission based program based on upsell generated revenue. Revenue is calculated as time of guest checkout. Upsell revenue can include; room type upgrades early checkin fee late check out fees and late cancellation fees.
