What youll be doing
Youll be developing technical specifications and designs for cuttingedge building systems including fire detection security AV BMS GRMS and more. Working on highprofile hospitality healthcare commercial and retail projects youll create detailed AutoCAD layouts (and ideally Revit too) prepare design reports assist with tenders and ensure all systems meet industry standards. Your role also includes system integration site inspections and supporting commissioning to bring your designs to life.

Youll join a leading engineering consultancy based in Bellville Cape Town renowned for delivering innovative building solutions across Southern Africa. With a track record in highend developments and a focus on smart technology integration this is a technically strong collaborative team offering meaningful work and real impact in the industry.
What youll need
A Bachelors degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or similar) and at least 5 years of experience in consulting engineering. Youll need strong CAD skills with Revit/BIM knowledge a plus. Familiarity with a range of building systems and a background in hospitality healthcare or commercial projects is key. Excellent communication and coordination skills are essential and ECSA registration (or eligibility) is a bonus.
