Job Description

Recruit new qualified caregivers on a continual basis to meet the staffing needs of the Scheduling team and in accordance with companydefined goals. This includes placing ads attending job fairs visiting academic institutions and developing new recruiting methods;

Facilitate the employee onboarding process inclusive of gathering requisite paperwork (via Docusign) conducting reference checks and background checks conducting interviews creating electronic personnel files as well as coordinating and facilitating the hiring/orientation session;

Create employee personnel file and upload contents into Wellksy;

Create profile and matching criteria within Wellsky to help categorize new hires;

Maintain and update all employee personnel files in accordance with regulatory and accreditation requirements; includes but is not limited to: Drug Screening; Level 1 Background Screening; Level 2 Background Screening

Monitor all personnel documentation expiration dates and follow up to ensure all personnel files are in compliance;

Maintain appropriate and current categorization of employees work status (ex. active inactive pending terminated etc. in the agencys database system while informing the Director of Operations of changes in categorizations weekly at minimum;

Implement caregiver customer service calls on a monthly basis including annual reviews;

Set up all employees in the agencys Relias online education and training system as well as assigning and notifying employees of required courses and expiration dates;

Maintain current employee electronic communication listing and distribute information to all employees regularly and/or as requested;

Maintain adequate supply of hiring packets onboarding material and supplies required for departmental tasks;

Create new employees digital file within Paychex (once they have begun work);

Assist the Director of Nursing and Scheduling Coordinator in coordinating and facilitating initial and annual competency assessments and work performance evaluations;

Manage PTO policy for organization (Paychex will assist in this process);

Manage Progressive Discipline process for organization;

Complete report and file all unemployment compensation documentation as needed;

Maintain Incidents and Occurrences log (to track employee or client incidents);

Create and maintain Infection Control log (to track employee or client illness);

Share in responsibility of after hours oncall;

Generate and analyze reports as requested;

Perform ongoing Caregiver Trainings; GEMS (Dementia) Parkinsons Reports training et al.

Represent the company at networking and community events as requested and appropriate;

Assist in answering incoming office calls of all types and responding to inquiries professionally and effectively;

Perform Client Assessments as needed;

Serve as a professional and effective liaison between employees and the Company;

Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with the Director of Operations;

Assist with other tasks and projects as requested;
