Position Summary:
The Digital Workplace Sr. Endpoint Engineer will be part of a global team delivering innovative technology with a strong focus on user experience. The role within the Digital Workplace Experience team is crucial in the definition and delivery of technologies supporting enduser computing services at AES. This includes device management enduser hardware and printer management providing an excellent user experience balanced with consistency supportability and data security.
This position focuses on endpoint configuration management (PCs tablets phones) application deployment client virtualization process and procedure development and printer management.
What Youll Do:
Comprehensive understanding of managing the Windows PC platform in a global enterprise environment including the creation and maintenance of software deployment packages.
Deliver exceptional user experiences with a high standard of and ownership.
Advocate for automation by identifying and implementing process improvements to ensure scalability and support selfservice capabilities.
Manage endpoint virtualization platforms ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance.
Evaluate software requests and make recommendations based on industry best practices and business needs.
Provide advanced technical analysis and troubleshooting for complex issues ensuring timely resolution.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for processes procedures and configurations.
Analyze identified vulnerabilities and work within a team to develop and deploy effective mitigation plans.
Share functional expertise to develop implement and support new service standards processes procedures and controls ensuring integration with key requirements.
Provide technical guidance to team members collaborate with vendors and help develop technical specifications.
Ensure budget requirements are met while managing technical specifications and project implementations.
What Youll Need:
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent technical school training and experience.
3 years of experience in Intelbased system administration and PC system management.
Strong knowledge in:
Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune and Configuration Manager).
Endpoint Virtualization (VMware Azure Remote Desktop Services Host).
Mobile Device Management (iOS and Android)
Microsoft Endpoint Security Platforms.
Active Directory Windows Autopilot SQL Reporting PowerShell.
Desktop Application Deployment (using Intune SCCM).
Operating Systems: Windows 11 macOS iOS Android.
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook Teams Excel PowerPoint).
Ability to work under pressure manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills initiative adaptability and resilience.
